Logitech m570 driver install6/24/2023 ![]() I'd have to click again to start dragging for a few more pixels. I also lost the ability to drag windows as it would move a few pixels then stop. I first noticed that as my mouse hovered over a window, it would make that window active, and bring it to the front, so if I have three overlapping windows, moving across them changes the focused window. I am having a very similar issue this morning. Could it be "Click methods: none" causing the problem and how would I fix that in the config file? Device: Logitech M570 Is there any setting to tweak, sensor that can be calibrated, or anything else I can do? Often I can click and hold and it will behave like a controller set to turbo (that is, spamming the button rapidly as long as it's held). Operative words: "a bit." It's still clicking erratically enough to be a problem. However, per libinput on ArchWiki, I installed xf86-input-libinput and xorg-xinput, which rezzed the middle click (and other mouse buttons), and helped the clicking insanity settle down a bit. The middle mouse click was also not working. This also makes click and drag virtually impossible. 50-75% of click attempts end up being double- or triple-clicks. My Logitech M570 trackball is clicking like crazy. I followed YT instructions to open the case, blew out/cleaned the inside, and dropped one drop of WD-40 on the internal click parts (and clicked a few times to work it through). ![]() Fixed: Google shows this is a common problem with this model.
